The Seed is Planted: In 2005 we set out to make our mark on the world as a small independent natural cosmetics company with little more then a passion for research, respect for the environment and the goal of creating safe and natural cosmetics. We launched our first on-line store in the Fall of 2006 featuring a small selection of naturally advanced skincare and mineral make up.
Here we Grow Again: As we continued to grow we needed to adjust accordingly and our goal was to expand and branch out and fill the void that was missing in modern skincare. In May of 2008 we opened our new web-boutique to offer our clients a more streamlined shopping experience and we moved to a new manufacturing facility as well. Our new state of the art lab space has allowed us to build up our R&D team which is currently working on a new high-end clinical line of skincare developed to meet the needs of Day Spas and Salons seeking a more natural line of skincare that was pure, effective, and innovative. Initially this line was only to be offered to professional clients but we are proud to offer this line to our ingredient-savvy retail clientelle as well.
Our Roots are Grounded: The original founder and owner of UGloGirl keeps the company grounded and focused on what's important and that's you. Those who know Melissa, know of her dedication to research and her love for her clients and her obsession with the art of beauty. Under her direction UGloGirl will continue to grow, yet remain the same premium makeup line you have come to love. The company's alter ego line, UGGClinical, will be run with the same dedication to customer service as we have always been known for but will be more involved in the actual research and developement of serious skincare solutions. Our new R&D experts and customer service staff takes us from a small, one person company, to a team of multi-talented professionals. Our formulation department consists of scientists and researchers in the fields of cosmetic chemistry, environmental biology and ecology. All of our products are produced under strict FDA quidelines for safety and go through rigorous clinical testing. There has never been and never will be any animal testing in our labs.
